Lodge trekking means to go hiking for several days in a row and stay the night in a lodge – traditional Himalayan mountain guesthouse -. Nowadays, depending on the regions, you can find all kind of facilities. Why not sleep in a heated bed or eat an apple pie at 4000 meters? And start your next day with a new energy.

Kanchenjunga Trek

Trekking in Nepal

Mustang Trek

The Mustang Trek, also known as “Medieval age or Forbidden Kingdom trek”, in the old hidden Buddhist kingdom of Mustang (“Mun Tan” meaning literally in Tibetan “the fertile land”). The region of Mustang, officially opened to tourism in 1992, only allows a limited numbers of trekkers each year in order to protect and conserve the local traditions and its fragile environment. Mustang lies to the northwest of the Annapurna range and extends on to the Tibetan Plateau. Its mountain range forms a frontier basin to Tibet.
