EXPEDITIONS, the human’s desire to go higher and aspire to the impossible is an astonishing performance. Due to this mystical energy, all fourteen 8000-meter peaks are conquered by various personalities in the mountaineering scene between 1950 and 1964 ever since the mountaineers from all around the world are fascinated and lured by the giants of the Himalaya to challenge themselves in this altitude.
Since half a decade, WILD YAK EXPEDITIONS have organized numerous successful expeditions Nepal and around the Himalaya, from 6000-meter peaks to the Top of the World: Mount Everest. Norbu Sherpa, the co-founder of WILD YAK EXPEDITIONS, has climbed himself numerous of the highest summits in the World: 7 times Mount Everest (8848m), 4 times Cho Oyu (8201m), 2 times Manaslu (8163m), 2 times Shishapangma (8013m), 1 time Dhaulagiri (8167m), 1 time Gasherbrum I (8068m) and Lhotse (8516m). Besides his Himalayan climbs, Norbu Sherpa also has great climbing experience in the Alps and the mountains of Pakistan, India, China, and Uzbekistan. Wild Yak Expeditions believes that climbing in the Himalaya “is a process of discovering oneself while fixing all elements at their right place. Lack of one small element can ruin the whole summit dream.”
With this thought, WILD YAK EXPEDITIONS is very focused on its expertise and concerned about the perfect organization of its expeditions.
