A unique alpine experience in the heart of the Valais for Swiss National Day!

During these 2 days, discover the mountains in a different way, with the added bonus of climbing Tête Blanche, at an altitude of 3,710 meters. The summit of Tête Blanche, in the Pennine Alps on the border between Switzerland and Italy, is also the highest point in the legendary Patrouille des Glaciers ski mountaineering race.

WILD YAK EXPEDITIONS is offering a Himalayan atmosphere for Swiss National Day at an altitude of over 3,300 meters, with raclette and fireworks on the programme. All accompanied by the WILD YAK team!

The programme includes a climb to the Bertol hut, perched on its rocky outcrop on the first day, with a unique evening with the Matterhorn, the Dent d’Hérens and the Dent Blanche as a backdrop. On the second day, we climb with crampons on and without any particular difficulty through a superb glacial landscape to the summit of Tête Blanche.

As you walk, soak up the sublime scenery and enjoy the beautiful evening atmosphere at the Cabane de Bertol, which sits spectacularly on a rocky spur at the bottom of the Val d’Hérens, between the Val d’Arolla and the Val de Ferpècle, on the Haute Route Chamonix-Zermatt.
