Discover the mountains under a new focus with WYE
Nowadays, most of us are using the camera of our mobile phone to make some pictures of our experiences. But some of us, have somewhere a real camera that we use with the basic features only.
Our mountain workshops with WILD YAK professional photographer @Ronald Patrick are aimed for beginners with a basic knowledge of photography and their equipment to advanced photographers who want to give a different perspective to their pictures.

13.30: Warm-up hike and workshop in the middle of the forest.
15.00: Departure for Fluhalp with the cable car.
Fluhalp is a charming cosy mountain hut at 2620 meters. From your window, you can enjoy the mythical pyramid of the Matterhorn.
With an easy going hike, you reach the Mountain Hotel Fluhalp. A wonderful source of inspiration! On the way, get immerge by the magnificent surroundings.
Once we arrive in Fluhalp, Ronald will do an introduction to the workshop teaching some photography theory and showing some examples of landscape photography.
18.30-22.00: After an early dinner in the magical atmosphere of the mountains, we head out to shoot sunset, dawn and night shots. If the sky is clear, we’ll capture photographs of the night sky and the Milky Way.
Day 02
Fluhalp – back to Zermatt via the Lakes
6.00: We set off before sunrise in order to be in position when the sunlight starts hitting the first peaks. Over the first hour there will be dramatic changes in the light, where we will take advantage of them. After this we go back to the hotel for a energising breakfast and to discuss the morning and night sessions. Take some time for editing and get precious advise from Ronald.
13.00: We leave by foot to catch the atmosphere of the mountain lakes at the foot of the famous Mattherhorn. Catch the beauty of the mountain world before taking the Gornergrat railway from Riffelalp to descend to Zermatt. An unforgettable experience, far away from the hustle and busy daily life.
16.00: End of the workshop, individual return.
