In addition, we adapt the group size to the conditions in the mountains in order to guarantee the best security for you and our guide. Hence, we benefit from greater flexibility and can better tailor a persona support. 

TECHNICAL LEVEL

Previous ski touring experience required.

Good physical condition for ascents of around 4 to 6 hours per day / maximum 1400M per day.

Technique: slopes up to 40° / easy climbing passages, with crampons.

Don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any doubts about the level required.

WILD YAK EXPEDITIONS would like to draw your attention to the fact that you will be travelling on an unmarked high mountain itinerary, and must be aware of the objective dangers associated with such an activity (rock falls, avalanches, low temperatures, crevasses).

MOUNTAIN HUTS

Overnight stays on this ski tour are in the following mountain huts, in dormitories and on a half-board basis: Rifugio Vittorio Sella, Refuge Chabod, Rifugio Vittorio Emanuele II, Rifugio Pontese. Good Italian cuisine and friendly refuge wardens will make your stay a real pleasure. The lists are equipped with blankets, but we recommend that you take a light silk sleeping bag with you. All the refuges have cold running water, but it is not drinkable and should be used sparingly.

INFORMATION ABOUT THE EVENT – MEETING PLACE

You will be informed by e-mail or telephone at least 2 days before the start of this ski tour. We will meet in Aosta. The exact time and place will be sent by email. We will organise the journey to Aosta between the participants.
