Two years later. An exceptional moment. Suspended in time.
After a magnificent trek, our Team arrived at Manaslu Base Camp at 4850M. It is as if one would be on top of Mont Blanc!
The monsoon season is not over. We have to deal with the weather forecast that Norbu sends daily to the WILD YAK Team on site.
Between the acclimatization climbs to the high camps, our cook Yeshi is busy preparing good food. One needs energy at these altitudes!
And here we are, the big day has arrived. 27 September 2021. With a mixture of apprehension and enthusiasm, the Team is watching the summit from Camp IV at 7450M. The ascent of an 8000-meter summit is like meticulously assembling many pieces of a puzzle. Each piece must find its place to admire a work of art of the mountain finally.
Step by step in an amazing scenery, the Team reaches the summit at 8163M!
